2023 Year On July 22, Shenzhen Weiket Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as " Weiket Company ) held three compliance training sessions in the factory meeting room of the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. All employees of Weiket Company and its subsidiaries participated in the training through a combination of online and offline methods. The purpose of these three training sessions was to promote comprehensive compliance within the company, enabling management and all employees to deeply understand and abide by the main legal provisions and systems involved in the company's business activities. , strengthen the company's compliance culture, improve the company's criminal risk control capabilities to ensure the compliant operation of the company.

The keynote speakers were lawyers Yu Huanhuan, Peng Bo, and Peng Yangshan from Beijing Haotian (Shenzhen) Law Firm. The three lawyers designed the training content based on the actual situation of Weiket Company and the common legal risks faced by manufacturing enterprises.  

  1. Special Lecture on Corporate Anti-Commercial Bribery Compliance

Lawyer Yu Huanhuan shared a compliance training titled "Special Lecture on Corporate Anti-Commercial Bribery Compliance," which was divided into five sections:

1. Introduction to the basic concepts of commercial bribery;

2. Focused on various forms of commercial bribery, providing compliance guidance for enterprises in daily operations;

3. Explained the administrative, civil, and criminal liabilities related to commercial bribery;

4. Introduced six typical cases illustrating the serious legal consequences of committing commercial bribery;

5. Based on the industry characteristics of Weiket Company, constructed a comprehensive anti-corruption compliance system from perspectives such as advocating the signing of anti-commercial bribery commitment letters by the company and employees, establishing a compliance management committee, conducting regular anti-commercial bribery assessments, and setting up supplier evaluation mechanisms.  

2. Special Lecture on Common Criminal Offenses for Enterprises and Employees

Lawyer Peng Bo shared a training titled "Special Lecture on Common Criminal Offenses for 'Workers'," in which he explained to Weiket employees the criminal risk prevention that workers need to be aware of in the workplace, covering risks of embezzlement crimes, bribery crimes, and information-related crimes.

1. Shared the key points and legal consequences of the crime of embezzlement from the aspects of crime constitutive elements, prosecution standards, and specific cases;

2. Analyzed the crime of bribery by non-state personnel from legal provisions, forms of crime, and standards for conviction, distinguishing between illegal bribery and legitimate gifts;

3. Shared the connotation and risk points of the crime of infringing on citizens' personal information, pointed out specific behaviors that may constitute this crime based on cases, and shared the characteristics of trade secrets, criminal constitutive elements, serious circumstances, and consequences of trade secret infringement.

3. Compliance System Presentation of Shenzhen Weiket Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.

Lawyer Peng Yangshan shared a training titled "Compliance System Presentation." Since the legal team recently established multiple compliance systems for Weiket Company, the training content focused on key provisions of the company’s systems.

1. Presented the compliance responsibilities of various departments under the "Compliance Management Measures," key compliance management content, and compliance points to note in publicity, training, assessment, rewards and punishments, management, and supervision;

2. Presented the purpose, scope, definitions, code of conduct, commitments, and reporting aspects of the "Anti-Commercial Bribery System"; regarding confidentiality agreements, explained civil compensation liabilities for employees who breach confidentiality obligations based on civil cases;

3. Regarding the "Employee Compliance Manual and Code of Conduct," reminded employees of the behavioral standards to follow in daily work and strictly prohibited behaviors;

4. Regarding performance appraisal systems, compliance reporting systems, and file management systems, informed employees that compliance performance appraisal is linked to performance pay, that compliance risks in daily operations can be reported to the company, and mentioned the company’s file management and borrowing regulations.    

 

After the training, employees who participated offline took a compliance questionnaire test to deepen their understanding of compliance learning and were invited to provide suggestions on company compliance. This compliance training received positive feedback. Going forward, Weiket Company will offer more legal education lectures based on business development needs, enhance legal awareness among all employees, strengthen the company’s legal culture, and ensure the company’s long-term stable operation and sustainable healthy development.
