2023 Year On November 10, the third plenary meeting of the third session of the Small Fuse Sub-Technical Committee of the National Fuse Standardization Technical Committee was successfully held in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. This meeting was the first national industry standardization conference held in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone.
The meeting was hosted by the Small Fuse Sub-Technical Committee of the National Fuse Standardization Technical Committee, organized by Weikete Fuse Co., Ltd. in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, Shenzhen, and received strong support from the Science, Technology Innovation and Economic Service Bureau of the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, Shenzhen, and the Shenshan Regulatory Bureau of the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration. Technical experts in the fuse industry, including Cai Jun, Chairman of the National Small Fuse Subcommittee, Cao Xiaoyang, Director of the Quality Standards and Metrology Section of the Shenshan Regulatory Bureau of Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration, Hao Ming, General Manager of Weikete Fuse Co., Ltd., Qin Haojun, General Manager of Shanghai Songshan Electronics Co., Ltd., and Lin Wenyuan, Executive Vice President of Holiland (Xiamen) Circuit Protection Technology Co., Ltd., attended the meeting and conducted in-depth technical exchanges.
At the meeting, Cao Xiaoyang, Director of the Quality Standards and Metrology Section of the Shenshan Regulatory Bureau of Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration, delivered an important speech emphasizing the importance of national standard construction. As a key department responsible for supervising market order, protecting consumer rights, and promoting healthy enterprise development, the Market Supervision Bureau closely monitors and participates in national standard construction. The bureau actively participates in the formulation, revision, and interpretation of national standards, and strictly supervises and manages products and services in the market according to standard requirements to ensure fair market competition, protect consumer safety, rights, and interests, and improve market quality and efficiency. Director Cao also proposed the concept that first-class enterprises make standards, second-class enterprises build brands, and third-class enterprises produce products, which was unanimously praised and well received by attendees.
Cai Jun, Chairman of the National Small Fuse Subcommittee, reported on the 2023 annual work of the Small Fuse Subcommittee. To meet the standard and market demands of the small fuse industry, 2023 the Standardization Committee actively carried out related standard formulation work, completed the approval of two national standards, and the standards completed by the committee GB/T 9816.1—2023 "Thermal Fuse Part 1: Requirements and Application Guidelines" was successfully published. At the same time, it introduced China's participation in international standardization work in the field of small fuses in the year, 2023 making outstanding contributions to IEC international standardization work and demonstrating the strength of Chinese standardization. The committee secretary Sun Ting reported on the work dynamics of the International Electrotechnical Commission Small Fuse Sub-Technical Committee (IEC/SC32C), summarized the
six standard projects carried out during the year and the convening of plenary meetings. 2023 Year Hao Ming and two other experts from Weikete Fuse exchanged views on the latest technologies and development trends of small fuses, believing that the latest technologies and trends mainly focus on digitalization, intelligence, miniaturization, integration, high performance, low temperature rise, low power consumption material applications, including the application of new arc-extinguishing gel materials. These technologies will further enhance the functions and reliability of small fuses to meet the continuously developing and changing application needs. These advanced technological innovations and practical explorations are very enlightening for promoting the construction of national standards for small fuses. This standardization meeting in the electrical industry holds milestone significance for the Shenshan Cooperation Zone in the fields of standardization work construction and technological innovation development.
